james graeser

James GraeserJim Graeser is the founding pastor of Cross+Road Lutheran Church in Fleming Island, Florida, where he has served for twelve years.

Ordained in 1995 after graduation from Trinity Lutheran Seminary and Capital University, both in Columbus, Ohio, Jim never expected to be a mission-developer nor to put together and participate in a contemporary worship ensemble.

Because of this, he cannot help but see God’s sense of humor in all layers of ministry and often emphasizes the fun ministry can be.  Jim, a small-town Ohio boy, has two beach-loving Florida daughters. When he’s not memorizing The Book of Concord, Jim can be found on his Harley searching for the perfect road.

andy boesenecker

Andrew BoeseneckerAndrew Boesenecker is a freelance performer, composer, consultant, and clinician in Fort Collins, CO. After graduating from Western Michigan University with a B.M. in Percussion Performance in 2001, Andy made the move from Michigan to Florida were he became a elementary music teacher in Deltona, FL.

While looking for a change of pace in his life, luck struck when his then-roommate found a classified ad for a Music Director position in the trash, and brought it to his attention (and asked “Hey, aren’t you a Lutheran?”).

The rest was history, as Andy was hired in 2003 as Music Director of Cross+Road Lutheran Church in Orange Park, FL. In that capacity, he's had the privilege of playing with Cross Road's band in a number of different worship settings, including the Florida-Bahamas Synod Assembly in 2006.

Married in 2006, he and wife Stacey had their first child in November 2008, and their second in August of 2010. Andy is also a candidate for ordained ministry in the ELCA, and is a student at Iliff School of Theology and Luther Seminary. In his free time, Andy enjoys playing in various rock bands, cooking healthy food for family and friends, and tackling various home improvement projects.
